I've been into motorbikes, on and off since the early 1980s and was lucky enough to pass my test with the Army. In those days you wandered around the bike on Monday, rode on the roads for three days and took your test on Friday, it was all so much simpler then.
When I left the Army I bought a Kawasaki KLR650 and came back from Africa and Iceland a year later.
A couple of decades of trundling around on four wheels and then a Moto Guzzi, Laverda Jota and now a ubiquitous GS.
