So much lost now to dictators, war and the all consuming lust for power.
For Syria I carried a Nikon F90 or F80s and used Kodachrome 64 as I liked its robust nature for travel, where you could often experience temperature extremes.
Throughout my Middle Eastern travels I carried Nikon primes, a 24mm, 50mm and 135mm.
